            <content:encoded><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;The students of the Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) Academy’s Dual Vocational Training have engineered a pick-up truck concept out of the Taigun SUV.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Developed in various phases that included conceptualisation of car concept finalisation to collection of ideas, market analysis, research and development, procurement, packing and final testing, the pick-up truck concept has been built by merging the Taigun SUV and the Virtus sedan.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If the images depict a considerable rear overhang, the pick-truck concept, designed by students involved 3D printing of various parts, highlighting in-turn the advances in 3D printing technology to tackle design challenges. The concept vehicle has been equipped with specialised accessories like underbody protection, studded tyres, ambient lighting, and special roof-mounted lights, completing the rugged pickup truck design.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Throughout the project, the students of the mechatronics stream were mentored by skilled professionals at SAVWIPL. They helped and guided the students to collaborate with suppliers and industry experts, helping them bring their innovative ideas to life. Attracting participation from than 66 countries to highlight their passion for riding through their Royal Enfield machines, helmets and other riding gear under the theme, ‘Be Bold. Be Seen. Be One’, the Eicher Group motorcycle manufacturer with headquarters in Chennai, brought together 16,170 riders in India out of the 41,370 riders that came together the world over. The Indian riders came from 490 cities in the country.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This year’s ‘One Ride’ focused on helmets and how they help riders to express their individuality. Witnessing a phenomenal turnout across the globe where riders showcased their unique personality through their helmets, the initiative got Royal Enfield riders from 66 countries outside of India.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In the APAC region,&amp;nbsp;6,480 riders joined 80 rides across Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Australia and other nations.             <content:encoded><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;Samvardhana Motherson International, one of the largest automotive component supplier has concluded its capital raise of INR 64.38 billion (USD 771 million approximately) on 20 September, 2024.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The company says it received strong interest from both domestic and foreign institutional investors, leading to substantial demand over the issue size. Over 95 percent of allocations were made to marquee long-only investors such as mutual funds, insurance and pension funds, foreign institutional investors (FIIs). The issue resulted in the further diversification and strengthening of the shareholder base.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;SAMIL states it has become one of the few successful issuers of Equity and Compulsorily Convertible Debentures in a composite issuance (equity of INR 49.38 billion and CCDs of INR 15 billion). The transaction subscription was done at a share price of INR 190/share while the floor price as per SEBI ICDR regulations was INR 188.85/share.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The proceeds from the issuance will be mainly directed towards debt repayment, thereby further strengthening SAMIL’s balance sheet and enhancing its position to capitalise on various growth opportunities. Mitra Chem is launching the American Production of Lithium Iron Phosphate and Future Innovation (AmPLIFI) project as a linchpin to building a robust domestic electric vehicle battery supply chain that is cleaner, safer, faster, more affordable, and independent of&amp;nbsp;China. The grant, aligned with the goals of the Inflation Reduction Act, marks a significant step towards establishing&amp;nbsp;the United States&amp;nbsp;as a global leader in battery manufacturing for EVs, energy storage systems (ESS), and defence applications.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Mitra Chem will partner with Sun Chemical, which brings 100 years of advanced particle engineering, expertise in manufacturing and production efficiency, existing regulatory permitting,&amp;nbsp;and extensive U.S. manufacturing infrastructure.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Vivas Kumar, CEO, Mitra Chem said, "This award selection represents a pivotal moment for the entire&amp;nbsp;U.S. battery industry. By localising material production, the initiative aims to reduce US dependence on fragile global supply chains, alleviating an over reliance on global competitors.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;By 2027, Mitra Chem aims to nearly double the U.S.'s LFP production capacity (15,000 tonnes of new LFP per year), with plans to double production again (30,000 tonnes per year) after that.             <content:encoded><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Using safety as the trump card to differentiate their products, homegrown automakers in India are taking to China rather than Europe to test and validate their vehicles.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;An industry leader in the research and development wing of one of the homegrown automakers revealed recently on the condition that his identity is not revealed because he is not authorised to talk, that to ship a prototype vehicle to Europe has become very costly and is therefore out of the question.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The tilt towards China marks a significant shift from the practice of shipping the prototypes to European regions in Germany and to winter testing regions in North Sweden because it would aid the engagement of European suppliers and because of the&amp;nbsp;high concentration of knowledge and experience in winter car testing in that respective region.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;With China turning out to be a highly cost-effective destination for testing and validation past the virtual stage, Indian automakers are striving to offer advanced safety technologies such as ADAS at a much lower cost than many others – European automakers in particular – are able to offer.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A trend among homegrown automakers is also to acquire advanced lab and virtual ‘testing and development’ equipment/software etc. to ensure they have to ship their protos overseas only for some very critical testing and validation purposes.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The research and development facilities of Indian homegrown automakers are currently a place of much action in terms of acquiring advanced testing, development and validation equipment so that much of it could be carried out ‘in-house’ in the most cost-effective manner, mentioned an industry source.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;He averred that the development of test tracks in India is complementing the facilities invested into by automakers such as the Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai, Ashok Leyland’s facility on the outskirts of Chennai and Tata Motors ERC facility in Pune. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The investment in equipment and facilities for design, development, testing and validation by Indian homegrown automakers is also helping in the development of multi energy architectures as well, he elaborated.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The shift from Europe to China and eventually in-house has led to many European agencies in the technology, testing and validation sector for automobiles tie up with Indian companies in the respective space, said another industry source aware of the developments.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;“It is not unusual to see Indian validation and testing equipment providers work closely with Indian homegrown automakers to acquire advanced equipment worth billions of Rupees for development of advanced technologies like ADAS at a fraction of cost that it would take to develop in Europe or some other advanced markets,” he added. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Such investments are helping them to differentiate their product offerings on the front of safety, he underlined.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Image for representative purpose only.&lt;/p&gt;]]></content:encoded>

During the conversation, participants emphasised how smart mobility solutions may create jobs, lessen traffic and cut down on pollution. The panel also covered the significance of sustainability in the design of future transport networks and underlined the necessity of laws that guarantee the creation of livelihoods while promoting the green transition.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Harsh Malhotra, Minister of State, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest via video conference. The panel featured Mahmood Ahmed, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Roads, Transport and Highways; Surendra Ahirwar, Joint Secretary, DPIIT; Sudhendu Sinha, Advisor, Mobility, NITI Ayog; and Mike Orgill, Head of Public Policy, Asia-Pacific, Uber.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Aggregators like Shadowfax, Rapido and Uber discussed the difficulties experienced by bike taxi drivers in the conversation. The main obstacle has been the absence of commercially viable two-wheelers that can offer bike taxi operators a safe and reasonably priced substitute for ICE motorbikes. They also mentioned that one of their main concerns was the difference in the electrification timeframe between delivery service providers and passenger transport.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Malhotra noted that new-age mobility solutions that enable affordable travel, like app-based on-demand bike taxis and auto rides, are emerging as popular choices among commuters today and are increasingly playing a pivotal role in improving first- and last-mile connectivity. He emphasised the importance of government and private sector collaboration in improving last-mile connectivity for passengers and businesses alike. In order to reach India's goal of Net Zero by 2070, he also emphasised the importance of the transport sector in the country's clean energy transformation. The company also announced that the bike will aim to claim Indian speed records in the ensuing 90 days.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The F99 is a first for the Indian two-wheeler sector, having been fully envisioned, designed and engineered in Ultraviolette's R&amp;amp;D HQ in Bengaluru. According to Ultraviolette, it has a confirmed power output of more than twice that of any production motorbike made by an Indian company. The bike can go from 0 to 100 km/h in three seconds, with a maximum speed of 265 km/h. The release states that within the following 90days, the F99 would attempt to set two records: ‘the fastest quarter mile for an Indian motorcycle’ and ‘the highest top speed for an Indian motorcycle’.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The F99 Factory Racing Platform, which was initially shown at EICMA, Milan 2023, embodies Ultraviolette's desire to expand its use of racing to push the boundaries of technology-enabled design. This increase is in line with GoMechanic's goal of growing its network of EV service centres to better serve the changing needs of fleet operators and individual owners. It is also supported by government incentives like the third phase of the Faster Adoption &amp;amp; Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles (FAME) scheme, which is set to launch soon.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As part of the expansion plan, GoMechanic will open 100 EV-specific workshops across key metropolitan areas by March 2025, aiming to double the number of workshops by FY2026. “These workshops will be equipped with cutting-edge technology, including real-time diagnostics, battery health monitoring and AI-powered predictive maintenance, ensuring the highest level of service for EV owners,” said Muskan Kakkar, Co-Founder and COO, GoMechanic.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In order to provide predictive maintenance and real-time EV health monitoring, GoMechanic is also in the process of incorporating telematics and IoT-based diagnostics into its operations. Leading EV manufacturers in India, such as BluSmart, MoEVing, Zypp Electric and Evera, are already receiving servicing for their three- and four-wheelers from GoMechanic. With the growth of the local EV market and the backing of programmes like the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme, which will increase domestic battery cell manufacture, these collaborations are expected to grow. This mining machine is fully equipped with a sensor system for autonomous operation. It is engineered to offer industry-leading payload efficiency, faster cycle times, low emissions, high safety standards and lower cost per transported tonne compared to other alternatives.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Powering the truck is a&amp;nbsp;16.4-litre V8&amp;nbsp;engine that produces 620 hp of power and 3000 Nm of torque. The report also mentions the important trends that have emerged in car buyer preferences, financing options and delivery choices.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;One of the most notable trends is Honda's ascent back to the top three most popular auto brands, replacing Tata in the rankings along with Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and City as important models. Furthermore, the Renault Kwid remains a popular vehicle with consumers, ranking in the top three models for the third consecutive quarter alongside the Hyundai Grand i10 and Maruti Suzuki Waggon R. Furthermore, with 12 percent growth over the previous quarter, the compact SUV segment is the category with the fastest rate of growth. Eighty-three percent of buyers indicated that they preferred petrol-powered vehicles, 12 percent diesel and 5 percent compressed natural gas. Red, white and grey are the most popular colours among automobile purchasers.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A 6 percent rise in customers choosing auto financing is indicative of an increasing level of trust in Spinny's financial services, according to its research. Significantly, 60 percent of all purchases were funded by Spinny's easy financing services, highlighting the business's open and customer-focused philosophy. With 65 percent of consumers choosing to buy automobiles online, a 5 percent increase from the previous quarter, the research also shows an increase in digital car purchases. This change reflects India's increasing inclination towards online transactions for auto purchases. Furthermore, there has been a notable increase in hub deliveries; 82 percent of buyers preferred to pick up their vehicles at Spinny Hubs or Spinny Parks, while just 18 percent selected home delivery. The increase in hub deliveries from the previous quarter is 7 percent, with 53 percent of these deliveries taking place at Spinny Parks.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In line with Spinny's efforts to increase the number of women who own cars, the company's data also reveals a sharp increase in first-time car buyers, who now account for 67 percent of all customers. Of these women, 30 percent are female. Another noteworthy change is the increasing inclination of consumers towards manual transmissions, which now account for 76 percent of purchases, up from 70 percent in the prior quarter. In contrast, automatic transmissions have decreased to 24 percent from 30 percent.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Urban areas have seen strong growth in the used luxury car industry, with Delhi leading the way, followed by Bengaluru and Mumbai. Popular models like the Audi A4 and BMW X1 demonstrate India's preference for high-end German vehicles, and the Jeep Compass is now among the best options.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Over a million people used Spinny every day during its recent Freedom Days event, which ran from 15–18 August. The company reported a 15 percent spike in traffic across the country during this time. During this campaign, Bengaluru, Pune and Delhi NCR were the top car-buying regions and cities. Furthermore, the campaign's average buyer age of 36 years showed a little older client base than the average of 32 years earlier. To meet this growing demand, Uno Minda will establish a new manufacturing facility in Indonesia, expected to be operational by Q4 FY2026 at an estimated expenditure of INR 2.1 billion.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The tier 1 supplier has been a leading supplier for the Indonesian automotive market since 2005, when it established its first manufacturing facility. PTMA currently supplies components and systems to major two-wheeler OEMs in the country. The new plant will enable Uno Minda to diversify its product offerings and cater to the growing demand for passenger car components. Once the new plant is commissioned, the existing plant will also be relocated to the new site to consolidate operations and achieve economies of scale. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In addition to its Indonesian expansion, Uno Minda is also expanding its capacity in India with its key subsidiary Uno Mindarika recently setting up a new plant in Farrukhnagar, Gurugram, Haryana.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In phase 1 of this new plant, it had set up manufacturing facilities for part products to be used for manufacturing of automotive switches. UMRPL will be shifting existing manufacturing plant from Manesar, Nawada Fatehpur, Haryana to Farrukh Nagar, Haryana in Phase-II with an Investment of INR 1.2 billion. High-tensile steel is used to construct the Isuzu D-MAX's cab for increased safety. The pick-up provides greater stability because of the independent coil springs and rigid leaf springs in the front and rear suspensions, respectively.             <content:encoded><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;HD Kumaraswamy, Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, Government of India, today said at a seminar that India will ensure sufficient charging infrastructure to support the massive adoption of electric vehicles across the country.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Speaking at the seminar hosted by FICCI and Ministry of Heavy Industries on 'FAME's Success in Transforming India's EV Landscape', Kumaraswamy also talked about introducing e-vouchers for electric vehicle (EV) buyers to avail of demand incentives under the newly approved PM E-DRIVE (PM Electric Drive Revolution in Innovative Vehicle Enhancement) scheme. "This is a unique new feature of this new scheme. The modalities of this are in an advanced stage and will be shared with you soon," explained Kumaraswamy, further adding that the govt’s goal is to reduce the nation’s environmental footprint, improve air quality and build a competitive and resilient electric vehicle manufacturing industry.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Union Cabinet introduced the PM E-DRIVE scheme last week with the goal of accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) by providing significant upfront incentives and developing essential infrastructure for charging them. The new plan adds a number of new components, such as INR 5 billion set aside specifically for the deployment of e-ambulances, INR 5 billion to encourage the use of electric trucks and INR 20 billion for the installation of 22,000 fast chargers for electric four-wheelers, 1,800 for e-buses and 48,400 for e-two and three-wheelers.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;According to Kumaraswamy, 92 percent of the INR 115 billion allotted has been used to encourage around 93 percent of the targeted vehicles. Significant progress has also been made in public transit under the project; as of 31 July 2024, a total of 4,853 e-buses have been supplied out of the 6,862 authorised for intra-city operations.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Vinod Aggarwal, Immediate Past President, SIAM and MD &amp;amp; CEO, VE Commercial Vehicles, highlighted the FAME-II scheme's noteworthy contribution to the growth of India's e-mobility industry. Over 5 percent of the market for two-wheelers, 54 percent of the market for three-wheelers and 1.5 percent of the market for cars has been penetrated by the scheme. Aggarwal pointed out that, in comparison to the prior year, passenger EV sales increased by more than 90 percent and electric two-wheeler sales increased by more than 30 percent in 2023–24, demonstrating the scheme's success in hastening EV adoption throughout India.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Kamran Rizvi, Secretary, Union Ministry of Heavy Industries, said, “With the PM E-DRIVE coming, the Phased Manufacturing Programme, the domestic value addition targets will be tweaked and amended so as to take advantage of our increased capability, and so that we become a truly a world leader in electric mobility technology.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Underlining the FAME II scheme as among the most transformative policies in India and noting that the electric three-wheeler industry was almost zero three years ago, FICCI President and Group CEO &amp;amp; MD, Mahindra Group, Dr Anish Shah, said, “Now, the industry has gone from zero to 20 percent, and we expect this to reach 100 percent in the next five years.”&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Stressing the need for innovation, R&amp;amp;D and technology enhancements to maintain global competitiveness, Vikrampati Singhania, Vice President, ACMA and MD &amp;amp; Director, J K Fenner India, said, "The EV and autonomous vehicle market demands precision and advanced components.             <content:encoded><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;The Association of Indian Forging Industry (AIFI), the apex body representing the forging industry in the country has announced its new officer bearers for 2024-26.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The committee has elected Yash Munot as the new President of AIFI, while S.&amp;nbsp; Ravishankar was elected as the Vice-President.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Munot, who succeeds Vikas Bajaj, had previously served as Vice-President of AIFI from 2020 to 2024, is now also the youngest to be appointed as the President in the organisation's history.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;He&amp;nbsp;currently serves as the CEO at Varsha Forgings and the Managing Director at KCTR Varsha Automotive. Munot begun his journey in the forging industry in 2005 joining his family business - Varsha Forgings. He was also instrumental in organising major industry events like IFC 2011, Forgetech&amp;nbsp; India 2016, Asia Forge 2019 and ForgeTech India&amp;nbsp;2023. He has served as the Western Region Chairman from 2018 to 2020.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;“The forging sector in India is at a pivotal juncture, with tremendous opportunities for innovation and growth.             <content:encoded><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;Automechanika Frankfurt has cemented its position as the leading international trade fair for the automotive industry with the successful conclusion of Automechanika Frankfurt 2024.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The slogan of this year’s Automechanika was ‘Driving Transformation’, with topics such as electrification, vehicle connectivity, driver assistance systems and digitalisation taking the centre stage. The fair was held from 10 to 14 September 2024 and saw 4,200 companies from 80 countries displaying their products and solutions for retail, workshops and industry. Spread over an area of 320,000 square metres and 26 hall levels, the event witnessed a total of 108,000 visitors from 172 countries.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Visitors had the chance to see cars with alternative drive systems up close, such as electric, hydrogen, and hybrid models, and even take a ride in the Future Mobility Park and the related expert forum Innovation4Mobility. For even more highlights, there were brand-new event types available, such as an exhilarating rally. Ninety-four percent of attendees, 70 percent of whom were foreign visitors, expressed satisfaction with the event, not just with the trade fair's offerings but also with their aims being met.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;An emphasis on sustainable technologies, products and solutions was highlighted at Automechanika this year. Several talks on remanufacturing and circular economy tactics were held on the stage in the new Sustainability Court in Hall 5.0. This year also saw the opening of ‘Ambition’, a dedicated Gen Z section in Hall 3.1 with live acts, panel discussions and succinct, fascinating presentations to pique the interest of young people in the automotive professions. This action was taken as a result of the well-known lack of qualified workers in the automobile sector.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Detlef Braun, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt, commented, “Even in the midst of the digital transformation, the industry once again demonstrated its wealth of innovation, providing countless highlights over the course of the five-day event. Additionally, a variety of digital payment methods are available to passengers, such as debit/credit cards, UPI, QR codes, prepaid wallets and NCMC (National Common Mobility Card) cards. In order for the conductor to issue the proper travel tickets via EBTM, passengers in the free or concessional category can show them their smart card pass. The EBTM ensures a smooth and effective ticketing operation while recording both the concession fare and the full fare.             <content:encoded><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;RattanIndia Enterprises-owned Revolt Motors, an electric motorcycle company, has launched its newest offerings the Revolt RV1 and the Revolt RV1+ electric commuter motorcycle at INR 84,990 and INR 99,990 respectively.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The company states that in India motorcycles comprise almost 70 percent of all two-wheelers sold, of which the commuter&amp;nbsp;segment comprises around 8 million units of the 12.5 million motorcycles sold.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The RV1 comes with a claimed 250kg&amp;nbsp;payload capacity, compared to 150kg average seen in other ICE-commuter&amp;nbsp;motorcycles. It features broader tyres for improved grip and stability. It is powered by a&amp;nbsp;mid-motor&amp;nbsp;and a&amp;nbsp;chain drive&amp;nbsp;system.&amp;nbsp;Dual disc brakes, along with multiple speed modes&amp;nbsp;and a reverse mode are also featured in the new e-motorcycles.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A 6-inch digital LCD display&amp;nbsp;provides real-time ride data and error codes. Both the e-motorcycles also come with built-in charger&amp;nbsp;storage and the RV1+ also gets a fast charge capability allowing it to be fully charged in 1.5 hours.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In terms of range, the RV1 comes with two battery options: a&amp;nbsp;2.2 kWh&amp;nbsp;battery offering up to&amp;nbsp;100km&amp;nbsp;claimed range, and a&amp;nbsp;3.24 kWh&amp;nbsp;battery extending the claimed range to&amp;nbsp;160 km. Both battery options are&amp;nbsp;IP67-rated&amp;nbsp;for water resistance, ensuring reliable performance&amp;nbsp;even in adverse weather conditions.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The two new products will complement Revolt Motors current line-up which includes RV400 and RV400 BRZ.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Revolt Motors claims that comfort remains a key highlight of the RV1, which can be seen with the&amp;nbsp;longest seat&amp;nbsp;in its category and a frame&amp;nbsp;designed for multiple passengers.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Furthermore, Revolt Motors has also announced upgrade of its flagship model, the&amp;nbsp;RV400, which includes fast charging capabilities that allow it be fully charged in 90 minutes; reverse mode; enhanced digital display;&amp;nbsp;comfortable seat height, and&amp;nbsp;Bluetooth connectivity&amp;nbsp;for music.             <content:encoded><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;JBM Ecolife Mobility, a subsidiary of JBM Auto and India's leading electric bus mobility and EV Ecosystem player, has secured a $100 million (INR 8.3 billion) in strategic funding from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The funding will be used towards supplying and operating electric buses under the Gross Cost Contract (GCC) model in multiple states across India in phased manner.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The strategic funding has been secured following comprehensive Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) audits conducted by approved consultants, reflecting JBM’s commitment towards augmenting sustainable mobility across the globe and its focus towards circular economy.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;At present, JBM has deployed over 1,500 electric buses across 10 states and more than 15 major airports in India. The company boasts of a robust orderbook of over 6,500 electric buses deployed and under execution. Notably, JBM has set up the world's largest (outside China) dedicated integrated electric bus manufacturing facility, located in Delhi-NCR region, with an annual production capacity of 20,000 e-buses.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Nishant Arya, Vice-Chairman &amp;amp; MD, JBM Group said, “We are grateful to ADB and AIIB for their continued support in advancing sustainable public transportation across India.
